Scheduler /
Project Specialist
· Provided support for the US Antarctic Program by
creating and maintaining project and sustaining schedules using Primavera
P6. This includes building the WBS and scheduling of all tasks, linking
tasks to the program milestones and other schedules as appropriate to
contribute to the integrated master schedule, resource and cost loading,
leveling resources, entering actuals, providing reports and look-aheads,
and statusing using actual start and finish dates and remaining duration.
· Responsible for contributing to the Annual Program
Plan. This includes ensuring that all planned full time and contract
labor hours are applied to an activity in the schedule, all planned minor
subcontracts and non labor items such as materials, training, travel, etc.,
have an activity in the schedule, and that all resources are correctly cost
loaded to ensure that P6 can produce a report showing the total program
budget for the next 5 fiscal years to provide to the NSF.
· Quality checking schedules to ensure that all
activities have a predecessor and successor, that proper logic is followed
in the schedule, and that activities are named appropriately. This
also includes running a 14 point inspection after weekly status to ensure
continued schedule health.
· Labor data collection, processing, and reporting.
· Assisted in streamlining and documenting
department processes and procedures.
· Monthly tie out of all schedules with actual
costs, analyzing schedules using EVM methodologies, monthly meetings with
all CAMs to determine ETC, VAC, and writing variance reports.
Participation in monthly reviews of schedules that trigger thresholds with
the program director.

· Provided project support to the PM for the
demolition of the Children’s Hospital in Denver. This included
creating and maintaining project schedules in MS Project and Primavera,
processing pay applications, coding and recording expenses and processing
monthly bank draw requests, creating and updating excel spreadsheets for
volume verification, safety statistics, and various journal entry and
account code tracking sheets.
· Created job site badges, helped resolve security
issues, and handled security officers’ payroll.
· Created and maintained all project files including
drawings, proposals, contracts, service agreements, invoices, pay
applications, change orders, etc.
· Handled all site maintenance issues including
equipment and facilities repairs, grounds keeping, and closely monitored
all utility accounts and transfers by working with Denver Water, Xcel, and
Qwest.
· Final reconciliation of all project accounts and
collecting all due diligence information to provide to the end property
buyer.

with contractors, subcontractors, customers, community members, and the
police and fire departments.
